Delete your data

Last updated 4 November 2026

You decide what DubberBand keeps. You can remove a connected channel, delete individual videos, or ask us to delete your whole account. This page also covers people who connected Instagram or Facebook and want their data removed.

Disconnect a channel

  1. Sign in and open Calendar.
  2. In the Channels panel, open the ⋮ menu next to the channel and choose Disconnect. Only workspace owners can do this.

DubberBand stops acting on that channel at once and deletes the access it held, with the channel’s name and picture. For YouTube it also withdraws its access at Google, unless another channel you connected uses the same Google account. Posts already published stay on YouTube, Instagram or Facebook until you delete them there. You can also remove our access yourself:

Delete a video or a dub

  1. Open Media (for an uploaded video) or Dub (for a dubbed video) and open the item.
  2. Choose Delete and confirm.

This removes the video and its subtitle file from our storage. The app won’t delete a video that a post or a dub still uses, such as an original you have dubbed. To remove one of those, email us as described below and we will delete it for you.

When you publish a video, a copy is also kept in the system that sends it to the platform. Deleting the video in the app does not remove that copy, so ask us by email if you want it removed too.

Delete your account and all your data

Email contact@sellayo.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my DubberBand data”. If you have more than one workspace, say which one. We will confirm by reply and finish within 7 days.

Deleting your data from DubberBand does not change anything stored by YouTube, Instagram or Facebook. Posts you published there stay until you delete them on that platform.

We delete:

  • your account and sign-in details;
  • your workspace: its members, channels and the authorisations we hold for them, posts, captions and settings;
  • your uploaded videos, dubbed videos and subtitle files, including the copies of published videos kept in our publishing system.

We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices. If you are a member of someone else’s workspace rather than its owner, we delete your own account and the workspace stays with its owners. Copies held by our providers are removed as their own terms allow, and deleted data can remain in our backups for a short while.

If you only removed the app on Facebook or Instagram

Removing DubberBand in your Facebook settings stops it from using your Page or account, but it does not delete what we already hold. To have that deleted, email contact@sellayo.com as described above and tell us the name of your Page or account.
